DTC Detection Condition
B2492-13Front right seat heater open circuit
(Front seat heater RH)
Diagnosis conditionREADY indicator: ON
Signal (terminal)—
Threshold CPU in front seat heater RH detect heating wire resistance more than 2.6 Ω
Diagnosis delay time1.5 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Harness or connectors (Front seat heater RH ground circuit is open)
  • Front seat cushion heater RH
  • Front seatback heater RH
 
 
FAIL-SAFE

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: ON).
  2. Check “Self-diagnosis” of “HVAC” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is DTC detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
