DTC Detection Condition
B2490-19Front left seat heater short circuit
(Front seat heater LH)
Diagnosis conditionREADY indicator: ON
Signal (terminal)—
Threshold CPU in front seat heater LH detect heating wire resistance less than 1.3 Ω
Diagnosis delay time1.5 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Front seat cushion heater LH
  • Front seatback heater LH
 
 
FAIL-SAFE

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: ON).
  2. Check “Self-diagnosis” of “HVAC” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is DTC detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
