A/C REFRIGERANT CONDENSER OUTLET TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION

1. Using the M.U.T.-III SE, read “Heat Exchanger Outlet Refrigerant Temp Sensor Value” in the PHEV A/C amplifier, then write down the value.

2. Disconnect the A/C refrigerant condenser outlet temperature sensor connector.

3. Measure the resistance value between the terminals of the A/C refrigerant condenser outlet temperature sensor side connector.
Estimate the normal resistance value from the sensor value read in step 1 and the sensor value in the table below.
If it is out of standard value, replace the A/C refrigerant condenser outlet temperature sensor.

		At 90°C (194°F) : 7.7 – 9.1 kΩ
		At 100°C (212°F) : 5.7 – 6.7 kΩ
		At 110°C (230°F) : 4.3 – 5.0 kΩ
		At 120°C (248°F) : 3.3 – 3.7 kΩ
		At 130°C (266°F) : 2.5 – 2.8 kΩ
