DTC Detection Condition
B00D3-11Front passenger air bag ON indicator
(Restraint System Passenger Able Indicator)
Diagnosis conditionWhen electric motor switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Front passenger air bag ON indicator signal
ThresholdFront passenger air bag ON indicator circuit is shorted to ground
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction or short circuit to ground of harness and connector
  • Internal malfunction of front passenger air bag ON indicator
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Electric motor switch ON.
  2. Perform "Diagnostic Trouble Code" mode of "AIR BAG" using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
