DTC Detection Condition
B1029-1AFront seat belt pre-tensioner LH
(Front seat belt pre-tensioner left hand)
Diagnosis conditionWhen electric motor switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Front seat belt pre-tensioner LH signal
ThresholdFront seat belt pre-tensioner LH circuits are shorted to each other
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction or short circuit of harness and connector
  • Internal malfunction of front seat belt pre-tensioner LH
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Electric motor switch ON.
  2. Perform "Diagnostic Trouble Code" mode of "AIR BAG" using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
