Diagnosis conditionWhen electric motor switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Ignition low voltage signal
ThresholdPower supply malfunction (low voltage) of air bag diagnosis sensor unit
Diagnosis delay time10 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Malfunction of battery voltage (9 V or less)
  • Connection malfunction of harness or connector
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Electric motor switch ON and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  2. Perform "Diagnostic Trouble Code" mode of "AIR BAG" using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
