DTC Detection Condition
B0090-12Crash zone sensor LH
(Left Frontal Restraints Sensor)
Diagnosis conditionWhen electric motor switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Crash zone sensor LH signal
ThresholdCrash zone sensor LH circuit is shorted to power supply circuit.
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction or short circuit to power supply of harness and connector
  • Internal malfunction of crash zone sensor LH
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Electric motor switch ON.
  2. Perform "Diagnostic Trouble Code" mode of "AIR BAG" using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
