DTC Detection Condition
B0021-1BCURTAIN A/B MODULE LH
(Left Curtain Deployment Control)
Diagnosis conditionWhen electric motor switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Curtain air bag module LH signal
ThresholdCurtain air bag module LH circuit resistance is above threshold
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction of harness and connector
  • Internal malfunction of curtain air bag module LH
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Electric motor switch ON.
  2. Perform "Diagnostic Trouble Code" mode of "AIR BAG" using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
