Diagnosis condition
  • When electric motor switch is ON.
  • When front right wheel sensor power supply voltage is normal.
  • When the vehicle speed is 10 km/h (6.2 MPH) – 60 km/h (37 MPH).

ThresholdWhen difference between front right wheel and other front right wheel speed is detected the vehicle is driven, because of installation of other tires than specified.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
noteConfirm if DTC is Stored DTC or Active DTC. If DTC is Active DTC, proceed with Diagnosis Procedure. If DTC is Stored DTC, clear DTC. Do not replace the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) for a Stored DTC DTC.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Electric motor switch ON.
  2. Drive the vehicle at approximately 50 km/h (31 MPH) or more for approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Stop the vehicle.
  4. Electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF).
  5. Electric motor switch ON.
    noteWait at least 10 seconds after electric motor switch ON.
  6. Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code for “ABS".
Is DTC “C1063-64" detected?
-1“Active DTC" is displayed: Refer to Removal and InstallationDiagnosis Procedure.
-2“Stored DTC" is displayed: INSPECTION END (Erase the memory of Diagnostic Trouble Code results.)
-1To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
