POSSIBLE CAUSE
noteConfirm if DTC is PAST or CRNT. If DTC is CRNT, proceed with Diagnosis Procedure. If DTC is PAST, clear DTC. Do not replace the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) for a PAST DTC.

FAIL-SAFE
Stop the following operations.
  • Boosting operation by electric driven intelligent brake unit
  • 4-wheel automatic pressure application function operated due to external brake request (FCM, ACC, innovative pedal operation mode, etc.)
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If other “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always turn the electric motor switch OFF before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Connect the all connectors.
  2. Use the M.U.T.-III SE, then erase the DTC set in the "EBA".
  3. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON from OFF without depressing the brake pedal.
  4. Use the M.U.T.-III SE, then check whether the DTC set in the "EBA".
Is DTC “U2A0B-88” detected?
