POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Electric driven intelligent brake unit
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Stop the following operations.
  • Boosting operation by electric driven intelligent brake unit
  • Regenerative brake function
  • 4-wheel automatic pressure application function operated due to external brake request (FCM, ACC, innovative pedal operation mode, etc.)
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Connect the all connectors.
  2. Use the M.U.T.-III SE, then erase the DTC set in the "EBA".
  3. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON from OFF without depressing the brake pedal.
  4. Use the M.U.T.-III SE, then check whether the DTC set in the "EBA".
Is DTC “C18EC-14” detected?
