Threshold
  • A malfunction is detected when the internal malfunction of the electric driven intelligent brake unit occurs.
  • The ECU detects a malfunction of the BMS (Booster Master Switch).
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • EBA
  • Electric driven intelligent brake unit
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Stop the following operations.
  • Boosting operation by electric driven intelligent brake unit
  • Regenerative brake function
  • 4-wheel automatic pressure application function operated due to external brake request (FCM, ACC, innovative pedal operation mode, etc.)
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DTC DETECTION
M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch is ON (READY indicator: ON)
  2. Use the M.U.T.-III SE, then select self-diagnosis for "EBA".
  3. Check the DTC.
