Threshold
  • The motor of the electric driven intelligent brake unit does not operate normally.
  • The stroke sensor cannot be adjusted by the electric driven intelligent brake unit.
  • The position of the spindle inside the electric driven intelligent brake unit is not normal.
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Electric driven intelligent brake unit
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Stop the following operations.
  • Boosting operation by electric driven intelligent brake unit
  • Regenerative brake function
  • 4-wheel automatic pressure application function operated due to external brake request (FCM, ACC, innovative pedal operation mode, etc.)
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON from OFF without depressing the brake pedal.
    cautionDo not set the vehicle to the READY status.
  2. Start the M.U.T.-III SE, then perform the Diagnostic Trouble Code of "EBA".
Is DTC “C18E1-07” detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
