Start the M.U.T.-III SE, then select "EBA" and "Data List" in order.
Check "Battery Voltage".
Is the inspection result normal?
Check the 12V battery.
2.Checking connector terminal
Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF, then disconnect the M.U.T.-III SE from the data link connector.
Close all the doors including the back door, then confirm that the room light turns off and wait for 3 minutes or more outside the vehicle in that state.
Disconnect the wiring harness and connectors of the electric driven intelligent brake unit and brake pedal stroke sensor. Then check that there is no failure on the pin terminal and its connection, and check that the connector terminal is not deformed or deteriorated.
Is the inspection result normal?
Repair / replace harness or connector.
3.PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
Connect the all connectors.
Use the M.U.T.-III SE, then erase the DTC set in the "EBA".
Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON from OFF without depressing the brake pedal.
Use the M.U.T.-III SE, then check whether the DTC set in the "EBA".
Is DTC “C18EC-12” detected?
