Electric driven intelligent brake unit
FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM
The electric driven intelligent brake unit integrates the control unit, master cylinder, brake booster and brake pedal stroke sensor and it controls the pressure of the fluid sent to the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit).
INDIVIDUAL FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM
The electric driven intelligent brake unit incorporates the control unit, master cylinder, brake booster and brake pedal stroke sensor.
ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT)
- Brake fluid pressure is controlled according to signals from each sensor.
- The regenerative brake control is performed.
- If malfunction is detected, the system enters fail-safe mode.
MASTER CYLINDER
- The brake fluid pressure is generated according to the movement amount of the piston .
BRAKE BOOSTER
- The brake booster incorporates the motor and boosts the force according to the depressed amount of the brake pedal and control level of the regenerative brake.
- The boosted force generates the fluid pressure in the master cylinder.
