The brake power backup unit temporarily supplies power to the electric driven intelligent brake unit when the power supply system of the electric driven intelligent brake unit is malfunctioning (low voltage).

The brake power backup unit stores power in case that the malfunction of the power supply system of the electric driven intelligent brake unit occurs.

The brake power backup unit is located on the left side of the luggage room. Refer to Component Parts Location.
