Diagnosis conditionDrive the vehicle at 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
noteWhen DTC is memorized, DTC is displayed again at electric motor switch ON.
Signal (terminal)Vehicle speed signal
ThresholdVehicle speed signal is not detected.
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSES
  • CAN communication
  • ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) malfunction
  • BCM
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE)
  1. Drive the vehicle at 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
  2. Stop the vehicle.
  3. Perform "Diagnostic Trouble Code" of "BCM".
Is DTC "C1700-86" detected?
