Removal and Installation
 
 
REMOVAL
 
 
1. Remove rear shock absorber.
2. Remove stabilizer connecting rod mounting nuts .
3. Remove rear stabilizer clamp mounting bolts , and then rear remove rear stabilizer bar from rear suspension member.
4. Perform inspection after removal. Refer to Inspection.
 
 
INSTALLATION
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
caution
  • When installing the rear stabilizer bar, install it so that the slit of stabilizer bush is at the vehicle front.
  • There are the right side and left-sided classification to the rear stabilizer connecting rod. When installing the rear stabilizer connecting rod to the vehicle left side, install the rod with the identification mark (red).
  • Install the side with the production number engraved on the rear stabilizer connecting rod to the rear stabilizer bar .
  • Perform final tightening of fixing parts at the vehicle installation position (rubber bushing), under unladen conditions with tires on level ground.
  • Perform inspection after installation. Refer to Inspection.
