LEARNING OF MOVABLE RANGE

If the following work was performed, carry out the movable range learning.

Removal, installation or replacement of the electrical parking actuator
Removal, installation or replacement of front transaxle assembly
Replacement of electrical parking driver unit
Implementation of Stored Range Value Clear

Procedure

1. Turn the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: OFF).

2. After setting the selector lever to "N" position, press the electrical parking switch to switch to "P" position.

3. Turn the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF, and leave the vehicle in door lock status for two minutes or longer (Confirm that the P indicator on the selector lever is not illuminated).

caution

When the power supply mode of the electric motor switch is turned to OFF, writing to the EEPROM starts. Therefore, do not turn the power supply mode to ON immediately after turning the power supply mode to OFF or disconnect the 12V battery terminal.
Only after removing, installing or replacing the front transaxle assembly, be sure to check initial learning quantity after carrying out the movable range learning.
