EXPANSION VALVE (FOR BATTERY COOLING) CHECK
Required Special Tools:
MB991223: Wiring harness set
MB992006: Extra fine probe
1.
Disconnect the drive battery connector (control wiring harness connector).
2.
Measure the resistance between the terminals at the drive battery connector (control wiring harness connector).
Measuring terminals
Standard value
Between terminal Nos. 26 and 21
8.0 to 10.0 Ω [at 20°C (68°F)]
Between terminal Nos. 36 and 27
Between terminal Nos. 26 and 36
No continuity
3.
If the measured value is not within the standard value, replace the drive battery (Refer to
DRIVE BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
).
