Operation check
1. Remove the vacuum hose from the evaporative emission purge solenoid.
2. Remove the evaporative emission purge solenoid from the inlet manifold.
3. Connect a hand vacuum pump to nipple (A) of the solenoid valve (refer to the illustration).
4. Check airtightness by applying vacuum with voltage applied directly from the battery to the solenoid valve and without applying voltage.
