Diagnosis condition
  • When engine is running
  • When AEB system is ON
Signal (terminal)
Threshold If the TCM is malfunction
Diagnosis delay time 2 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
TCM
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
The following systems are canceled.
  • Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode
  • Conventional (fixed speed) cruise control mode
  • Steering wheel assistance function
  • AEB
  • PFCW
 
 
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC “C2589-82” is displayed with Network-DTC, first diagnose the Network-DTC.
Is applicable DTC detected?
Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC IndexDTC Index .

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Start the engine.
  2. Turn the AEB system ON.
  3. Perform “Read All DTCs” with M.U.T.-III SE.
  4. Check if the “C2589-82” is detected as the current malfunction in self-diagnosis results of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C2589-82” detected as the current malfunction?
