Diagnosis Procedure
1.PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Erase self-diagnosis result for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.
  2. Ignition switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  3. Ignition switch ON.
  4. Perform self-diagnosis for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.
Is DTC “U215B-83” detected?

INSPECTION END
 
2.CHECK IPDM E/R SYSTEM (1)
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Erase self-diagnosis result for “IPDM E/R”.
  2. Ignition switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.
  3. Ignition switch ON.
  4. Perform self-diagnosis for “IPDM E/R”.
Is DTC detected?
Check the DTC. Refer to DTC Index.

3.CHECK CAN COMM ERR (SONAR) SYSTEM (2)
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect CAN comm err (sonar) harness connector.
  3. Check CAN comm err (sonar) harness connector terminals (CAN communication line and chassis communication line) or damage or loose connection.
Is the inspection result normal?

Repair / replace harness, connector, or terminal. .
 
4.ERASE SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Connect CAN comm err (sonar) harness connector.
  2. Erase self-diagnosis result for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.
  3. Ignition switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.
