OFF Position Warning
PURPOSE
OFF position warning warns the driver of egression from the vehicle while OFF position is not applied.
SIGNAL PATH
- Keyless operation key unit judges whether or not warning the driver is required, according to push switch signal from push-button ignition switch, door switch signal from door switch (front door LH), and ID verification result.
- Keyless operation key unit, when it judges that warning to the driver is required, Keyless operation key unit transmits buzzer output signal to combination meter via CAN communication.
- When combination meter receives buzzer output signal, meter speaker operates.
WARNING OPERATING CONDITION
When any of the following conditions are satisfied.
- Condition A
- Ignition switch is turned from ON to OFF while front door LH is open.
- Condition B
- When Ignition switch is in OFF position, Keyless operation key backside is contacted to push-button ignition switch while brake pedal is depressed (when Keyless operation key battery is discharged).
- Door switch (front LH) is ON (front door LH is open)
WARNING CANCEL CONDITION
Any of the warning operating conditions are no longer satisfied.
