ASC OFF Indicator Light
DESIGN/PURPOSE
The ASC OFF indicator light warns the driver that ASC function and TCS function are OFF.
BULB CHECK
The ASC OFF indicator light turns ON and stays ON for 1 second after ON the ignition switch.
SYNCHRONIZATION WITH MASTER WARNING LIGHT
Not applicable
OPERATION AT COMBINATION METER CAN COMMUNICATION CUT-OFF OR UNUSUAL SIGNAL

SIGNAL PATH
- The ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) receives a ASC OFF signal from the integral switch.
- The ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) transmits a ASC OFF indicator light signal to the combination meter via CAN communication according to the received ASC OFF signal.
- The combination meter turns ON the ASC OFF indicator light when receiving a ASC OFF indicator light signal.
LIGHTING CONDITION
When all of the following conditions are satisfied:
- Ignition switch ON
- ASC OFF setting ON (ASC function and TCS function non-operational status)
SHUTOFF CONDITION
When the condition listed below is satisfied while the ignition switch ON:
- Ignition switch other than ON
- ASC OFF setting OFF (ASC function and TCS function standby status)
- Ignition switch OFF
