RAB Warning Light
 
 
DESIGN/PURPOSE
  • The RAB warning light warns the driver that RAB system is OFF.
  • The RAB warning light warns the driver of a malfunction in the RAB system.
 
 
BULB CHECK
RAB warning light turns ON after turning the ignition switch (engine stop).
 
 
SYNCHRONIZATION WITH MASTER WARNING LIGHT
Not applicable
 
 
OPERATION AT COMBINATION METER CAN COMMUNICATION CUT-OFF OR UNUSUAL SIGNAL
For actions on CAN communications blackout in the combination meter, refer to Fail-Safe.

SIGNAL PATH
  • The ADAS control unit 2 receives a system selection signal from the combination meter via CAN communication when RAB system ON is not selected.
  • The ADAS control unit 2 transmits an RAB warning light signal to the combination meter via CAN communication when detecting a malfunction or RAB system ON is not selected.
  • The combination meter turns ON the RAB warning light when receiving an RAB warning light signal.
 
 
LIGHTING CONDITION
The warning light turns ON when:
  • RAB system OFF.
  • A malfunction is detected in the RAB system.
 
 
SHUTOFF CONDITION
The warning light turns OFF when:
  • RAB system ON.
  • DTC is deleted.
  • The ignition switch is in a position other than ON.
