AEB Warning Light
DESIGN/PURPOSE
- The AEB warning light warns the driver that AEB system is OFF.
- The AEB warning light warns the driver of a malfunction in the AEB system.
BULB CHECK
AEB warning light turns ON after turning the ignition switch (engine stop).
SYNCHRONIZATION WITH MASTER WARNING LIGHT
Not applicable
OPERATION AT COMBINATION METER CAN COMMUNICATION CUT-OFF OR UNUSUAL SIGNAL

Fail-Safe.
SIGNAL PATH
- The ADAS control unit 2 receives a system selection signal from the combination meter via CAN communication when AEB system ON is not selected.
- The ADAS control unit 2 transmits an AEB warning light signal to the combination meter via CAN communication when detecting a malfunction or AEB system ON is not selected.
- The combination meter turns ON the AEB warning light when receiving an AEB warning light signal.
LIGHTING CONDITION
The warning light turns ON when:
- AEB system OFF.
- A malfunction is detected in the AEB system.
SHUTOFF CONDITION
The warning light turns OFF when:
- AEB system ON.
- DTC is deleted.
- The ignition switch is in a position other than ON.
