(Right Side Restraints Sensor 3)
Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)B-pillar satellite sensor RH signal
ThresholdCommunication malfunction of B-pillar satellite sensor RH
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction of harness or connector
  • Internal malfunction of B-pillar satellite sensor RH
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
