Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)—
ThresholdWhen no data are stored in the air bag diagnosis sensor unit or when errors are detected in the configuration data stored in the air bag diagnosis sensor unit.
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Incomplete or mistake of configuration for air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
