DTC Detection Condition
B00D5–11PASS A/B INDICATOR
(Restraint System Passenger Disable Indicator)
Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Front passenger air bag OFF indicator signal
ThresholdFront passenger air bag OFF indicator circuit is shorted to ground
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction or short circuit to ground of harness and connector
  • Internal malfunction of front passenger air bag OFF indicator
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
