DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
  1. Pull the parking brake switch.
    noteCheck the parking brake switch indicator is turn On.
  2. Ignition switch OFF.
  3. Get out of the vehicle and close all doors.
  4. Wait 65 seconds.
    note
    • Check the parking brake switch indicator turn OFF.
    • If the rear brake caliper is heated, wait an hour so that parking brake switch indicator does not turn OFF.

2.DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Start the engine.
    cautionNever drive the vehicle.
  2. Perform self-diagnosis for “EPS/DAST 3”.
Is DTC “C1604-96” detected?
Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
