POSSIBLE CAUSE
cautionThis diagnostic trouble code may be set by switch operations that the user does not intend. In this case, it is not an abnormality of parts and there is no need to replace parts.
noteConfirm if DTC is PAST or CRNT. If DTC is CRNT, proceed with Diagnosis Procedure. If DTC is PAST, clear DTC. Do not replace the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) for a PAST DTC.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) to ON.
  2. Push the parking brake switch.
    caution
    • Set the electric shift selector in the P position.
    • Depress the brake pedal.
    • When the parking brake switch is pressed against the user's intention such as when something is put on the parking brake switch, put the switch in a state where it is not pressed and wait for at least 10 seconds. If the warning light extinguishes after 10 seconds or more, there is no abnormality and the part does not need to be replaced.
  3. Pull the parking brake switch.
  4. Perform self-diagnosis for “ABS”.
Is DTC “C10B2–64” detected?
-1“Active DTC” is displayed: Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
-2“Stored DTC” is displayed: INSPECTION END (Erase the memory of self-diagnosis results.)
-1To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
