Diagnosis condition
  • When ignition switch is ON.
  • When front right wheel sensor power supply voltage is normal.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
noteConfirm if DTC is PAST or CRNT. If DTC is CRNT, proceed with Diagnosis Procedure. If DTC is PAST, clear DTC. Do not replace the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) for a PAST DTC.
PAST DTCCRNT DTC
  • Front right wheel sensor
  • Front right wheel sensor is installed to wrong position
  • Vehicle was not driven after previous repair
  • Front right wheel sensor
  • Front right wheel sensor is installed to wrong position
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
The following functions are suspended.
  • ASC function
  • TCS function
  • ABS function
  • EBD function
  • Brake limited slip differential (BLSD) function
  • Brake assist function
  • Brake force distribution function
  • hill start assist function
  • Electric parking brake function
  • Hill Decent Control function
  • Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) function
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Start the engine.
  2. Drive the vehicle at approximately 50 km/h (31 MPH) or more for approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Stop the vehicle.
  4. Ignition switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF).
  5. Start the engine.
    noteWait at least 10 seconds after start the engine.
  6. Perform self-diagnosis for “ABS”.
Is DTC “C1063-4A” detected?
-1“Active DTC” is displayed: Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
-2“Stored DTC” is displayed: INSPECTION END (Erase the memory of self-diagnosis results.)
-1To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident Intermittent Incident.
-2Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
