C1213-A3BATTERY VOLTAGE
(Battery voltage)
Diagnosis conditionIgnition switch: ON
SignalBattery power supply signal (terminal #6)
ThresholdBattery power supply signal > 16 V
Diagnosis delay time5 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The power supply in the system is too high.
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Although AWD control is canceled, the vehicle can drive at 2WD condition.
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  2. Drive at 10 km/h (6 MPH) or more for approximately 5 minutes in urban areas.
  3. Stop the vehicle.
  4. Perform self-diagnosis for “ALL MODE AWD/4WD”.
Is DTC “C1213-A3” detected?
Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
