POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • ABS actuator control unit (electric unit)
  • Electric shift control module
  • CAN communication line between ABS actuator control unit (electric unit) and electric shift control module (CAN communication line is open or shorted.)
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
No impact to vehicle behavior
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. The ignition switch is ON and wait for 5 seconds or more.
  2. Check DTC.
Is “U2148-87 detected?
Go to Diagnosis Procedure.
