Diagnosis conditionWhen the ignition switch is ON

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Electric shift control module
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
  • When CVT system or vehicle’s all system is abnormal: Powertrain becomes neutral
  • Other than the above: No impact to vehicle behavior
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. The ignition switch is ON and wait for 5 seconds or more.
  2. Check DTC.
