P0106	00	ABSL PRES SEN/CIRC (Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance)	Diagnosis condition	—
			Signal (terminal)	MAP sensor signal
			Threshold	Difference between intake manifold pressure and estimated intake manifold pressure while steady driving condition. An excessively low voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM. An excessively high voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM.
			Diagnosis delay time	5 consecutive seconds

DTC Confirmation Procedure

1.PRECONDITIONING

If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 1 minute before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

Accelerate the vehicle from 40 km/h (25MPH) to 70 km/h (44 MPH) or more within 7 seconds.
caution Always drive vehicle in safe manner according to traffic conditions and obey all traffic laws.
note Keeping the accelerator pedal as steady as possible at approximately 3/8 during the acceleration allows easy diagnosis.
Check DTC.
