Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK ECM POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Perform trouble diagnosis for ECM power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis ProcedureDTC Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
.
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
 
2.CHECK EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM PRESSURE SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT-1
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect EVAP control system pressure sensor harness connector.
  3. Turn ignition switch ON.
  4. Check the voltage between EVAP control system pressure sensor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

3.CHECK EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM PRESSURE SENSOR SUPPLY CIRCUIT-2
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect ECM harness connector.
  3. Check the continuity between EVAP control system pressure sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair open circuit.
 
4.CHECK SENSOR POWER SUPPLY 3 CIRCUIT
  1. Disconnect following sensors harness connector.
  2. Check harness for short to power and short to ground, between the following terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.
 
5.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
.
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
 
6.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Turn ignition switch ON.
  2. Erase DTC.
  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC Description.
Is the 1st trip DTC P06E6 displayed again?
Replace ECM. Refer to ECM : Removal & Installation.
