DTC detection condition
C1E80-4BControl unit

Diagnosis condition When engine is running
Signal (terminal) —
Threshold Temperature detected by the temperature sensor integrated in side radar RH remains more than 105 °C (221 °F)
Diagnosis delay time 5 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Temperature around the side radar RH becomes extremely high
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
The following systems are canceled.
  • BSW
  • Active Blind Spot Assist [ABSA]
  • RCTA
 
 
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Wait for 10 minutes or more.
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Perform “Read All DTCs” with M.U.T.-III SE.
  5. Check if the “C1E80-4B” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “Side radar (Rear right)”.
Is “C1E80-4B” detected as the current malfunction?
