DTC detection condition
C2587 17 POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
(Power supply circuit)
Diagnosis condition
  • When engine is running
  • When AEB system is ON
Signal (terminal) Battery power supply
Threshold The battery voltage sent to distance sensor remains above 16V
Diagnosis delay time 5 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connector, harness, fuse
  • Distance sensor
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
The following systems are canceled.
  • Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode
  • Conventional (fixed speed) cruise control mode
  • Steering wheel assistance function
  • AEB
  • PFCW
 
 
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Start the engine.
  2. Turn the AEB system ON.
  3. Perform “Read All DTCs” with M.U.T.-III SE.
  4. Check if the “C2587-17” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C2587-17” detected as the current malfunction?
