Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON

ThresholdAn abnormal sensor signal is input from sonar sensor (Pulse signal high side is long)
Diagnosis delay time4 seconds or more
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Harness and connector between sonar control unit and front sonar sensor RH inner
  • Front sonar sensor RH inner
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Stop the obstacle detection function
 
 
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Turn ignition switch ON.
  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using M.U.T.-III SE.
  5. Check the DTC.
Is DTC “B272B–35” detected?
