SYSTEM DIAGRAM
ComponentFunction
Sliding motor LHSliding motor
  • Sliding motor is activated with driver seat control unit.
  • Slides the seat forward/backward by changing the rotation direction of sliding motor.
Sliding sensor
  • Sliding sensor is integrated in sliding motor
  • The pulse signal is input to driver seat control unit when sliding is performed.
  • Driver seat control unit counts the pulse and calculates the sliding amount of the seat.
Front door lock assembly LHDoor switchDetects the driver door condition (open or close), and inputs the door switch (front LH) signal to BCM.
BCMRecognizes the following status and transmits it to driver seat control unit via CAN communication.
  • Door switch (front LH) signal
  • Ignition ON signal
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) transmits the vehicle speed signal to driver seat control unit via CAN communication.
Driver seat control unitRefer to Driver Seat Control Unit.

DESCRIPTION
  • When exiting, the condition is satisfied, the seat is moved backward 50 mm (1.97 in) from normal sitting position.
  • The seat slide operation at entry/exit operation can be changed.
note
  • This function is set to ON before delivery (initial setting).
  • Further information for the system setting procedure. Refer to Description.

Operation Procedure
  1. Open the driver door with ignition switch in OFF position.
  2. Driver seat will move to the exiting position.

Detail Flow
OrderInputOutputControl unit condition
1Door switch
(Driver side)
Driver seat control unit receives door switch (driver side/open) signal from BCM via CAN communication.
2Motor
(Sliding)
Driver seat control unit operates the sliding motor, which recognizes that the driver side door is opened with ignition switch OFF.
3Sensor
(Sliding)
Sliding sensor monitors the operating positions of seat, and then stops the operation of sliding motor when seat reaches to the rear most position.
