U215F-81CAN comm err (laser/radar )
[Controller area network communication error (laser/radar)]
Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)CAN communication signal
ThresholdIf air bag diagnosis sensor unit detects an error signal that is received from distance sensor via CAN communication
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC U215F-81 is displayed with Network-DTC, first perform the trouble diagnosis for Network-DTC.
Is applicable DTC detected?
Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC IndexDTC Index.

2.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
