U2152-81CAN comm err (ADAS control unit)
[Controller area network communication error (Advanced driver assistant systems control unit)]
Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)CAN communication signal
ThresholdIf air bag diagnosis sensor unit detects an error signal that is received from ADAS control unit 2 via CAN communication
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.

  • ADAS control unit 2
  • Air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC U2152-81 is displayed with Network-DTC, first perform the trouble diagnosis for Network-DTC.
Is applicable DTC detected?
Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC IndexDTC Index.

2.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
