DTC Detection Condition
B0029-11CURTAIN A/B MODULE RH
(Right Curtain Deployment Control 1)
Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Curtain air bag module RH signal
ThresholdCurtain air bag module RH circuit is shorted to ground
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction or short circuit to ground of harness and connector
  • Internal malfunction of curtain air bag module RH
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
