DTC Detection Condition
B0010-12ASSIST A/B MODULE
(Passenger Frontal Stage 1 Deployment Control)
Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)Passenger air bag module signal
ThresholdPassenger air bag module circuit is shorted to power supply circuit
Diagnosis delay time2 seconds or more.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Connection malfunction or short circuit to power supply of harness and connector
  • Internal malfunction of passenger air bag module
  • Internal malfunction of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Perform “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is malfunctioning part detected?
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
