Air bag warning light turns ON or blinks indicating a system malfunction when a malfunction is detected for electric system of SRS air bag system and seat belt pre-tensioner system.
For operation check purposes, air bag warning light turns ON for 7 seconds after power switch is turned ON. During this period of time, air bag diagnosis sensor unit performs system diagnosis.
note
SRS air bag and seat belt pre-tensioner do not operate for approximately 7 seconds (air bag warning light is turning ON) after power switch is turned ON.
