DTC Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ELECTRIC SHIFT CONTROL MODULE AND ELECTRIC SHIFT SELECTOR
  1. The ignition switch is OFF.
  2. Disconnect the electric shift control module connector.
  3. Disconnect the electric shift selector connector.
  4. Check the continuity between electric shift control module harness connector terminals and electric shift selector harness connector terminals.

  5. Check the continuity between electric shift control module harness connector terminals and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace damaged parts.
 
2.CHECK P POSITION SWITCH
Check the P position switch. Refer to Component Inspection (P Position Switch).
Is the inspection result normal?
INSPECTION END
Replace the electric shift selector. Refer to Removal and Installation.
