P272D00PARK PAWL MOTOR
(Park Pawl Motor Control Circuit Current Too High)
Diagnosis conditionWhen Ignition switch is ON
SignalMotor B (U phase / V phase / W phase) signal
ThresholdEither of two energized phases is in the non-energized state.
noteEnergized: Approx. 0 V, Non-energized: 9 – 16 V
Diagnosis delay time
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Harness or connectors
    • Motor coil A (U phase / V phase / W phase) circuit is shorted to power.
    • Motor coil B (U phase / V phase / W phase) circuit is shorted to power.
  • Electric shift control module
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
  • Shifting operation is prohibited
  • Powertrain becomes neutral
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. The ignition switch is ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
  2. Check DTC.
