P189D00BACK UP VOLTAGE
(Memory Back Up Power Supply)
Diagnosis conditionWhen ignition switch is ON
Signal—
ThresholdThe memory backup power supply voltage is less than 8 V.
Diagnosis delay time—
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Harness or connectors (Memory backup power supply circuit is open or shorted.)
  • Electric shift control module
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
No impact to vehicle behavior
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. The ignition switch is ON and wait for 5 seconds or more.
  2. Check DTC.
